5th class menu of work 8th-12th June 2020 ✨
5th June 2020
Dear Parents and children,
I hope you are all keeping well and that you and your families had a brilliant long weekend and got out to do lots of fun things in the glorious sunshine.
We had a busy week here on the farm with silage, which went well thank God! My little farmer boy was so excited to see all the big machinery and he was chuffed to sit and have a ‘picnic’ with all the men at teatime on the farm! I am sure you have noticed the many tractors in the fields and on the roads around Coolaney these days too. It is a busy time for farmers. We also helped out on the bog this week! Do any of you have a bog or have you ever helped to bring home turf? I would love to hear what you are all up to these days!
Thanks to those pupils who contacted me again this week, both with work and to say hi. I awarded a special Certificate for Engagement to two children (so far!) who are working hard and staying in touch. I would like to award lots more certificates so keep the work and emails coming and keep an eye on the 5th class blog next week to see if you are a worthy recipient! Remember you just have to do a little every day but do it well.
If you are having any difficulties with the work assigned, if you have any questions or suggestions or just want to say hi, email me at fifthclassmshorkan@gmail.com.
God bless, stay safe and happy,
Ms Horkan 😊
