This week we will begin to look at Theme 10 Confirmation. I hope you have been working on your Confirmation worksheets and please continue to learn your prayers and responses. We will look at lesson 1 The Power of the Holy Spirit on pages 102-105. You can access the online activities for each lesson by going to www.growinlove.ie & inserting this email address to the login section: firstname.lastname@example.org. The password is growinlove.
This chapter talks about Pentecost-when the Holy Spirit came upon the apostles. Read about The coming of the Holy Spirit on pages 102 and 103 and discuss the questions with a parent. I’d also like you to talk about a particular moment in your life that has been very important or life changing to you. On page 104 you can revise The Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Don’t forget even now more than ever-we should all be doing things and making choices with these in mind. They help us to do what is right and good. We certainly all need good things these days-and doing something good can be very simple, yet by doing so you will make someone else really happy! On page 105 there’s a poem Pentecost: I Was There and there are some prayers and Chat Together activities that you could discuss with a parent.
Continue to have a go at Joe Wicks the Bodycoach kids workouts on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6r99N3kXME.
I hope you are all out enjoying the fine weather at home where possible (while making sure to adhere to the HSE guidelines regarding the Covid 19 outbreak). You could also try to keep up with the Daily Mile if it’s possible to do some laps around your house? Remember, 10 minutes per day is all it takes!
