First Class Menu of Work 15/6/2020- 19/6/2020

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a nice week even though our lovely weather has disappeared for now. Hopefully the sun will return again once we have all our work finished up and we are on our holidays. We are almost there now and I am so proud of all the fabulous work that I have received from 1st class over the past few weeks.

You have been super because I know it has not been easy doing all this work at home. The work you have been completing at home and sending on to me has been fantastic. Well done everyone.

Below is a suggested list of work for the following week 15/06/2020 – 19/06/2020. This week we will be finishing up one or two of our remaining books and doing some revision.

Like the other weeks I have put up a grid on the blog with the work for each day and then here I have added the logins to the individual sites with some extra details too. Just complete what you can.

Any queries or questions about the list of work please email me for further details on firstclassmsmcintyre@gmail.com

This page has 20 mental arithmetic problems that revise the work done to date.

I always do this as a little test at school. I ask the children to try all 20 problems without help and then I score them out of 20. Let me know how you get on. Afterwards you will know which concepts the children may need to go back over. I do read any words the children can’t read but I only help them once they have tried all the problems once themselves. I would love if you would send me a picture or just even the score of how you did.

SESE\ English

This week I would like the children to read, listen to and discuss some of Aesop’s Fables. I have attached a PowerPoint for each story for you to read through with the children. Then on Friday the children could complete a piece of Art based on their favourite fable from the week.
