Recipe Corner

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all keeping safe and well. I know it’s tough not being able to see our friends at school but I have heard that you are all working very hard at home and helping out as much as possible. This is great! I’ve also heard that there is some great cooking and baking going on in many houses. I thought it might be fun and a nice idea to share our recipes with each other. These can be healthy smoothies and snacks or treats of cakes, buns and biscuits. Whatever you like really! All you have to do is email me the recipe and maybe include a nice picture and I’ll pop it up on the blog. My email is

I’ll start with a nice simple and healthy berry smoothie:


• 1 1/2 cups milk

• 1 banana

• 1 1/2 cups frozen berries

• 3/4 cup yogurt

• Some granola for a garnish on top (optional)


1. Place the milk, banana, berries and yogurt in a blender.

2. Blend until completely smooth.

3. Pour into two glasses and serve, topped with granola if desired.
