.Rockfield National School is situated 1km from the picturesque village of Coolaney, Co. Sligo.

Coolaney Village is very accessible. From Sligo take the main N4 Dual Carriageway south as far as The Collooney Roundabout. Take the third exit off the roundabout, continue for 50m and turn right. Proceed for 1km. At this stage you will pass over a bridge and just past Quigley's Bar turn left. From this point you will pass under a lovely stone railway bridge and from here Coolaney Village is 8km.

Once you enter Coolaney Village, proceed up the Main Street and at the top of the street there is a Monument and a fork in the road. Take the right turn here and the school is 1km on the left, opposite St. Joseph's Church
