Wishing everyone a very happy and safe Halloween from Second Class👻

Junior Infants, Senior Infants and First Class had a lovely trip to the church earlier this month to see Fr. Gerry and his beautiful autumn harvest display. They enjoyed spotting all the colourful fruits and vegetables!

The children and teachers had a fantastic Halloween Fun Day, dressing up in all sorts of creative and spooky costumes! Everyone enjoyed the lively Halloween parade and the excitement of the raffle. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Tubbercurry Cancer Support. What a fang-tactic day it was!

Today was a great day in our Junior and Senior Infant classroom. It was Halloween Dress-Up Day! We had witches, superheroes, skeletons, and fairies but to name a few. We also made some barmbrack. The children were fascinated to learn about the old Irish tradition of hiding special tokens inside. We put a coin in ours. There was plenty of mixing, stirring, and a generous helping of flour clouds floating through the air. Of course, no Halloween celebration would be complete wit

What a fantastic weekend it’s been! We’re absolutely thrilled to celebrate our local team’s big win in the final on Sunday! The whole school is bursting with pride.
