Lego Spike🎢🧩
Fourth Class put their STEM and problem-solving skills to the test as they worked together to design and build exciting creations using LEGO SPIKE. Collaborating in teams, the children used their creativity and coding knowledge to bring their models to life and make them move. They produced some very impressive creations!

Learning About Ireland, One County at a Time🇮🇪
Fourth Class became county experts as each student chose an Irish county to research and explore in detail. They discovered fascinating facts about landmarks, history, culture, sport, and geography before presenting their findings on beautifully designed posters. Their fantastic work is now proudly on display for everyone to enjoy!

Henri Rousseau🎨
Henri Rousseau was a French artist who was best known for his jungle paintings. 2nd Class loved creating one of his famous scenes. Can you spot some of our hidden tigers?! 🐯

Rotating Sun Pictures☀️

🚲 Cycling Safety 🪖
Ciarán Hussey (Green-Schools Officer) called to the school today to provide indoor cycling safety workshops. The workshops focused on what to consider before we go for a cycle including: clothes, bike maintenance, helmet fitting and blind spots.

On Parle Français! We’re speaking French!
5th and 6th class have just finished 10 weeks of learning French through the ‘Say Yes to Languages’ programme. We were delighted to have the wonderful French tutor, Julien, whose enthusiasm and lively teaching style made every lesson engaging and enjoyable for the children.

Sacrament of Confirmation 🕊️
Congratulations to our 5th and 6th class students who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday 16th May. Bishop Kevin Doran and Fr. Matin Convey led a beautiful ceremony. Exploring Our Celtic Heritage
In Fourth Class, we had great fun learning all about the Celts and their way of life in Iron Age Ireland. We discovered that they lived in roundhouses, were skilled farmers and warriors, and were talented craftspeople who worked with iron. Our Very Own Wildlife Bridges 🌉
In Fourth Class, we have been learning all about wildlife bridges and crossings. These are special human-made bridges that help animals move safely from one place to another without coming into contact with roads or other busy human infrastructure. They provide animals with a safe way to travel and protect wildlife habitats.
