6th class have been learning about borders between countries. Some countries are separated by lakes, rivers, mountains and other geographical features. Some borders are straight and some are windy because of this.
Borders can change over time because of wars. Some examples of these include the border between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, North Korea and South Korea and countries in the Middle East.
6th class chose countries that were separated by mountains for this art lesson.
