Sligo, Leitrim, West Cavan, Parenting Support Champions through funding from Tusla’s Parenting Learning Communities Initiative are delighted to welcome Bronagh Starrs to discuss emotionally based school avoidance. 

Join Bronagh Starrs, a recognised expert in the field of child and adolescent development and psychotherapy, for an insightful presentation on understanding and responding to anxiety in children, especially when linked with school avoidance and co-occurring conditions like ASD.

Bronagh will introduce a four-stage model of intervention that addresses the deeper emotional challenges these children face, replacing anxiety and dependency with resilience and courage.
