In Fourth Class, we had great fun learning all about the Celts and their way of life in Iron Age Ireland. We discovered that they lived in roundhouses, were skilled farmers and warriors, and were talented craftspeople who worked with iron. We also learned how important storytelling, traditions, and art were in Celtic society.

The children collaborated in groups to create wonderful projects based on different aspects of Celtic life. It was great to see everyone working together, sharing ideas, and presenting their work with such confidence and creativity.

We especially enjoyed exploring Celtic knots, intricate patterns with no beginning or end, symbolising eternity and connection. Inspired by these traditional designs, we carefully created our own Celtic knots, and we were very proud of the impressive results!
