Myths, Legends and the Children of Lir

Third Class has been learning about myths and legends through the Irish story The Children of Lir. We talked about the characters and the magical part of the story, then practised retelling it in our own words.
The story inspired our art display. We painted paper plates to make the water and sky, added colourful shapes, and created swans with soft cotton feathers. Each pupil made their own version of the scene. We hope you enjoy looking at our Children of Lir artwork!
