Today was a great day in our Junior and Senior Infant classroom. It was Halloween Dress-Up Day!

We had witches, superheroes, skeletons, and fairies but to name a few.

We also made some barmbrack. The children were fascinated to learn about the old Irish tradition of hiding special tokens inside. We put a coin in ours. There was plenty of mixing, stirring, and a generous helping of flour clouds floating through the air.

Of course, no Halloween celebration would be complete without the all-important taste test. The verdict? “Yummy!”

Between the costumes, giggles, and sweet smells of baking, it was a day full of magic!

Happy Halloween from our spooktacular classroom! 🎃🧙‍♀️🕸️
