Third Class explored the life and work of Tim Burton before creating self-portraits inspired by his imaginative style.
We focused on line and shape, exploring how changing facial features can turn a familiar face into an unusual character. The children used their own ideas to give their portraits personality and a spooky twist.
This lesson encouraged creativity and self-expression, showing us that a self-portrait can be imaginative as well as realistic.

Can you recognise the Third Class faces in our gallery?
