🛣️ Walkability Audit 🚸

Ciarán Hussey (Green-Schools Officer) called to the school on Tuesday 18th November to carry out a Walkability Audit. This involved a group of students accompanying Ciarán to complete a review to see if there were any barriers to active/sustainable travel outside the school and in approaching routes.

Our students looked at the area around our school: the speed bumps, foot paths, signage, markings and recorded their findings. Ciarán is going to use the information gathered from the students and their observations to submit a formal report to the Local Authority.
